 BUSINESS CONSULTING

  • We go beyond the need to update your logo and identify the behavioral articulation of a business philosophy.
Our work begins with discussion of your organizational identity and values.
  • We provide the research and strategy leading needed to create strong brand pillars, as well as creation of visual icons, graphics and vital messaging.
  • We have decades of experience managing CSR/ESG strategies and programs for international corporations, local companies and small startups. That experience provides a unique vantage point for crafting authentic and effective program execution. Combining research, strategy and creativity to hit the right balance of authenticity is critical. By resonating with employees, customers and community—in alignment with the organizational values and community expectations—organizations develop credibility for their strategies.
  • We’ve led responses in nearly every type of crisis, developing and executing crisis communications plans in response to a myriad of situations. We build strategic responses to effectively mitigate risk. Most importantly, we work with clients to provide training for crisis communication management and response planning to prepare your organization in advance.
  • DEVELOPMENT: our president has served in leadership and staff positions of varying size organizations, as well as advised hundreds of nonprofits. Our work begins with discussion of goals and philanthropic giving climate, leading to an assessment of community needs and study of campaign feasibility. We implement concepts, create tools and measurement for successful annual and capital campaigns, challenge grants, major gifts, planned giving and more. Also, we train and coach staff and board members through the development process.
  • ADVISORY: For family foundations, we support families to identify their philanthropic goals. We guide processes and timelines to accommodate participation by, and transitions to, successive generations of family members. We hear your vision and translate it into an implementation plan that ensures your legacy will reach its fullest potential.
  • Our award-winning approach to integrating community and media relations pays off in ways that are both cost-effective and memorable. We help our clients navigate short- and long-term communication challenges by strengthening reputation management, establish effective two-way communication, and developing methodologies to evaluate effectiveness.
  • We execute all phases of research. For example, operations analysis, brand development and/or refresh, customer satisfaction, campaign feasibility and community and employee opinion studies are available. We listen to your objectives and then tailor the data collection approach that best meets clients’ needs.
  • We excel at writing content, taking complex information, including trade, industry, scientific and technical content, and breaking it down into simple, easy to understand, relevant information. We tailor content for the designated speaker and ensure it is attuned to the intended audience. We write executive speeches, annual and quarterly investor presentations and briefings for industry analysts, as well as consumer focused materials. We create product and sales copy, web content, annual reports, development campaign materials, media announcements, press releases and more.

INTERIM/FRACTIONAL LEADERSHIP

We serve the needs of organizations undergoing leadership transitions, expansions and/or course corrections. These services are customizable and designed to fill current gaps and build the foundation for continued success.

  • FRACTIONAL LEADERSHIP: Organizations often need specific positions filled for a period of months or even years. Yet, they don’t want the headache of employees with payroll, benefits and more.  Fractional is the answer! When retaining a fractional leader, clients gain senior level talent, accustomed to leading as a CEO or CEO. Contracts can last months or years, depending on the growth objectives of the organization. Fractional teams accomplish services without the normal distractions faced by employees, and can have many of the same supervisory and signatory privileges as employed executives. Fractionals can be embedded with organizations’ cultures to  lead, coach and guide teams, all while accomplishing the organization’s key objectives and goals. CLICK HERE to see a comparison of fractional, versus consultants.
  • TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT: We provide client support including stabilization, assessment and guidance during leadership or management transition. Assistance can be provided on an interim short-term basis or as a fractional or part-time leader for a longer period to augment existing staff or fill in the gaps. We have experience filling interim and fractional positions for corporate, government and nonprofit clients in the CEO, COO, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Development Officer, Chief Impact Officer and more. We provide other coaching and planning support for organizations that needed a steady hand while in transition. We work with you to determine the type of support needed, considering the scope of work, desired level of interaction with us and budget.
